Forgotten FCE preparation course essay about living without a TV

Once upon a time, like in 2013, I struggled to achieve even 200 words. Now I have also trouble to achieve 250 words, but from a different side. The word limit has stayed the same since secondary school - 200 to 250, exceptions are stories, which would have been anecdotes. The term "Essay" got fucked up seriously. It meant an elaborate consideration of science-related things but now it's more paste-this-phrase-here and the ideas conveyed are shallow if any as formalities take so much words by themselves. Our Czech teacher accepts no less than 1 page of 400 words and recommends at least 1.5 of 600 words, with the effective limit being how much can we cram onto 3 pages. So far while writing a travel reportage (Know how to translate any better "cestopisná reportáž"?) about Liberland I exceeded 1100. My longest piece of English text is an incomplete Getman's Adverntures Part 2. I used to write it on my old Android phone with QWERTY keyboard. It has grown to and kept at around 48 kB which / 6 = 8000 words. Boredom and no (free) Internet makes wonders. Those fuckers from the hotel staff on Gran Canaria made me to start it. I'd except a free Wi-Fi, but hell no. This wasn't Vienna, where on the airport you get 10 Mbps up and down without paying and some wessis call it somewhat slower cause they got 100 Mbps optics. This is even faster than my O2 ADSL, which is about 6.5 Mbps up and 500 kbps down. My dad still thinks it's enough. I know not. I feel like in 00s all over with those Windows XP and DSL and when I hear what they have in west, I feel like I'm in Russia. Yeah, nice landscape. 10/10 would live in a forest again.

This is an actual transcript, with all the mistakes and also the underlining of what was deemed wrong. Got "14/20", which is so dank I'd blaze it, had I some weed and were I in Colorado.

Could I live w/o TV?

o TV is very helpful device these days. We can watch news to know what's new or we can just entertain ourselves by watching series or movies. We have many channels to watch, especially when we have a satellite TV. It allows us to free our minds and just sit back and relax.
o But TV is not an interactive way to waste our time. It's good for relaxing, but how about if we want to do something more active? I think there's use for a much complex device, the computer. You can play games, browse the Internet, and mainly, you have greater freedom of what and when will you watch. You just can't fast-forward a TV programme when it's boring, can you?  120 w
o If we put these arguments together, we will come to a conclusion, that each person prefers different way of entertainment. One likes lying on the sofa and becoming fat, the second prefers something more interactive. There are also people who don't like TV nor computers. It's up to you to which group will you join. I choose the 2nd.

I had to type it myself, OCRs (Readiris at least) suck, my handwriting should probably be a captcha.
