đ means either use a 0-based dice or just read the die face count as 0. Conversely, d means either use a 1-based dice or just read the 0 as the die face count. Some expensive design dice have a special symbol to be read either as 0 or the face count. đ% means read 00 as 0, and d% means read 00 as 100. dF is a cube that rolls -1, 0, or 1.

Odd-dice are most easily manufactured as even-dice with each number twice, namely the Roman dIII, but DCC sets include weird-shaped odd-dice, called funky.

This article was written during waiting for "Theory of Infinity" sets that I ordered shortly after Master's thesis defense. What an absolute state of international wholesale shipping. The set also contains d5 (tapered triangular prism), d7, and d16, but these are nonisohedral, therefore not considered (same goes for icospheres and soccer balls). It doesn't include d48 and d120. DCC sets also contain nonisohedral d14.

DICE FUND:

Listing the available dice fund provides substitution constraints. I provide mine as an example of what you can get your hands on in Czechia, it might get outdated over time. Dice of the same design cannot be rolled for different purposes at the same time, you could pick which result goes where.

GENERIC DICE SUBSTITUTIONS (BabicaDice):

Cooking recipes of Jiří Babica are notorious for being context-free grammars allowing for some wild substitutions of lacking ingredients, in the form of "when you don't have ginger, put in garlic or onion or horseradish". Might be how potions evolved into soups.

Similarly, Catalan dice may be a bit harder to obtain in Eastern Europe due to international shipping and customs. Replace the dice the roll calls for using factorization and composition into radix rolls like d% (RadixDice):

Cannot do anything about lack of d2. You may be able to do something about lack of d10 and d6 if you have weirdly shaped d5 or d3, which also help with d30. Luckily, d10 comes twice a D&D set (ignore or make up tens as you go), d6 is available in normie stores, and for d2 pay for dice sets in cash and use change.

There is a certain optimization of mental computation. Each đX*Y+dY can be substituted for đY*X+dX. Humans like to read decimals directly, and being guaranteed a smaller non-decimal constant to multiply with is preferrable, that's why d48 is stated as đ8*6+d6 instead of đ6*8+d8, and d24 as đ6*4+d4 instead of đ4*6+d6. Decimally extend RadixDice to virtual d40, d80, d200, d240, d300, d480, d600 etc. by multipling by 10 and adding more d10s as pleased. For binary, mix and match đ2, đ4, and đ8 for desired amount of bits.

There may be a case of lacking enough of a particular type of dice, be it Catalan or Platonic or d100/d10. Pivot around the face count or otherwise redistribute it like so (PivotDice):

PivotDice flattens the distribution slightly, usually within margin of empirical error and dice misbehavior. Hoard d120 like a dragon if you cannot 3D print icospheres, or at least d12 and d10, as stated earlier. RadixDice can save you for 3d120 => d200 + d100 + d60 => đ20 * 10 + d10 + đ10 * 10 + d10 + đ6 * 10 + d10 = (đ20 + đ10 + đ6) * 10 + 3d10, as the numbers up there are quite composite.

There may also be cases more conducive to carrying less larger dice that are more universal to emulate smaller dice using binning (1-based) or either modulo or integer division (0-based, cleaner math):

Specifically đ48 is quite awkward to emulate, here it's done by a great dozen roll integer-divided by 3. Maybe also hoard that, or at least closely guard your d8 and d6, as stated earlier.

Using factorization from RadixDice, large dice can emulate multiple smaller dice at once with their entropy, assuming the guest dice face count multiplies to a number that divides the host die face count. If equal, the host dice entropy is utilized fully. Sometimes, LaTeX could really be handy. Thereby single đ120 can be a source for virtual đ10+đ6+đ2 like đ120/12+đ120/10+đ120/60, which is PivotDice for 3đ6. Similarly, đ8 can be seen as rolling octal-packed 3đ2, more generally đ(2^k) can roll kđ2 for any natural k. This application of VirutalDice to multiplex entropy can be called EntroMuxDice.

As a last resort, especially with funky prime DCC dice, go with the next higer face count you have or at least can deal with using methods described above, and simply reroll when the result is too high. This application of VirtualDice can be called RejectDice.

Putting it all together, to roll a đ° pseudodie:

đ360 => đ60 * 6 + đ6 => đ6 * 60 + đ6 * 10 + đ10 => đ4 * 90 + đ8 * 10 + đ10

Some games store angle in multiples of tau/256=pi/128 ("binarians"):

NPC ROLLS (DirectDice):

This substitution was conceived primarily to eliminate correction constants using combinations of 1-based and 0-based dice. All Nd6-N rolls can be DirectDiced as Nđ6, but this is boring. Reject signifies to reroll on said result. If the extrema of both sides are mentioned, it's possible to treat it as a slight range extension.

Generally, to ensure minimum result, roll that many dice, and to ensure maximum, ensure the faces add up to it. At medium amounts of d6, the minimum starts getting too high for this approach.

HEROIC ROLLS (AltDice):

These keep mean while trying to minimize extending range, like in the original table. Replacement is by single type of dice, using multiple types is basically PivotDice, since you have to (re)distribute the maximum result plus range expansion between face counts of minimum result amount of dice minus range expansion, so that the face counts are present in your collection. Precise numerical meanings of results of such rolls are unlikely. Shift the corrective constant accordingly.

At higher amounts of d6, too many polyhedral dice are rolled, albeit less, facing the same problem of counting taking too long, as well as the range being expanded too much. Only dice hoarders have 16 d8 or 12 d12, which only come once per D&D set unlike d10.

SUPERHEROIC ROLLS (LessDice):

Hero System and Shadowrun are notorious for using obscene amounts of d6, moreso than GURPS. They're hard to hold in hands, and the pips take ages to count. This is the time to finally resign at eliminating corrections. 4 or 5 dice (6 or 5 from 54d6, 6 or 7 dice from 63d6, 8 or 7 from 80d6) are enough to invoke Central Limit Theorem, allow the Bell curve to take shape, and provide enough wiggle room for mean coinage payment problem. These mostly Catalan dice aren't typically owned in large quantities of the same type, the most egregious ask is for 3d48 and 3d30. 3d120 enters only at 61d6 and 3d100 at 63d6, where the table used to end originally. Geodesic polyhedrons (d80,d180;d32,d42,d92,d162) would be useful here, since I'm already entertaining the zocchihedral d100.

For visualization, there could be a coinage compositon graph, but more generically, mean of any dN is N/2+0.5. Therby each compactification of k dice of dN_i into a single dM is sum(i=1)(k)(N_i/2+1/2)=M/2+1/2, simplifying to sum(i=1)(k)(N_i)=M-k+1. This can only work for odd k, for even k there needs to be M_1+M_2-k+1 to add those lingering halves to make it whole.

Eventually, the amounts of Catalan dice needed start rising as well, and the variance becomes enormeous, so a different approach is needed. Consider splitting digits, like rolling 6d6*10+4d6 instead of 64d6. Substitute d6 accordingly. Don't roll 1d6 or 2d6 for most significant digit, Bell curve starts only taking shape at 3d6. Numerical inflation makes a TTRPGs feel like Yu-Gi-Oh!, where players become accountants with 8000 LP, instead of more pedestrian 20 Life of MTG.

DEMIGOD ROLLS (NormalDice):

At higher amounts of d6, the Bell curve gets so narrow it's almost better to roll a bunch of dF and modify the mean, so for example 100d6 goes from 100 to 600 with mean 350, but instead of d120+5d100+d48+d24 (8 large dice) or 10d6*10 (digit split loses precission with round numbers, maybe try different radices), roll 350+10dF*10, which gives flatter range from 200 to 500. Generate the least significant digit with d10 if you need precission. This keeps the variance increase in check. There could be a NormalDice table that specifies the exact amount of Fudge dice to replicate the distribution, but just note this:

Nd6: Mean 7N/2 = 3.5N, Variance 35N/12 = 2.9167N, StdDev 1.7078*N^(1/2)

KdF: Mean 0, Variance 2K/3 = 0.6667K, StdDev 0.8165*K^(1/2)

LdF*10: Mean 0, Variance 200L/3 = 66.6667L, StdDev 8.165*L^(1/2)

Therefore, K = 35N/8 = 4.375N, or N = 8K/35 = 0.22857K, and L = 7N/160 = 0.04375N, or N = 160L/7 = 22.85714L

Using dF*10 instead of dF reduces the amount to be rolled to approximate normal distribution to 4 from 438 at 100d6. To reach the range of 100 to 600, there needs to be 25 decadic dF rolled, i.e. N/4. Mean is fixed in all modes, it's just a question of whether to match the variance or the range, and if you don't know, arithmetic mean is 4+25/2=14.5, which rounds to 15, geometric mean is (4*25)^(1/2)=10, and harmonic mean is 2/(1/4 + 1/25)=6.89655, which rounds to 7. Multiply accordingly for 1000d6 or other crazy rolls.

This means the amount of dice rolled is reduced by a factor of 25 when matching variance (realistic), 4 when matching range (cinematic). I propose to balance with a factor of 10, the geometric mean of 4 and 25, for being simpler to conceptualize for decimal beings who create market for artrocities like d100, but post-graduate GMs for whom Master's wasn't enough may have their own opinions.

Cut down HT by 1, traded 2 Will for 2 Per (not mentioned in Lite), and sligtly cut 4 points down on skills to bring me from 64 points to 50 points, which is a common limit. Then, upon learning familiarities cost 1 (general) or 2 (niche) points, expanded on skills by 8.

Spoilery pro ZNK Poslední exekuce

Díval jsem se na let's play (Peťan, Fatty, Haiset) konečně vydaného nového ZNK Poslední exekuce. Doba je hodně jiná než když mi bylo 11 a hrál jsem prvních 7 dílů s návodem, protože jsem nechtěl hledat správnou sekvenci akcí v nesandboxových adventurách, a tak se toho mohli zhostit čeští YouTubeři/Twitcheři/Kickeři, kteří tehdy snad ještě na YouTube vůbec nebyli, a jejich chat, který jim kolektivně radil. Také společnost je na značku ZNK celkem zvyklá vlivem Martyho filmů a už to není takový underground, takže stačilo jen ve videích rozmazat pár vizuálních necudností. Soud dal tehdy Sodomě Gomoře a Hrobce a Pitvě za pravdu ve svobodě umění. I samotný námět hry působí jako součást establishmentu, jednu postavu dabuje dnešní ministr kultury, systém exekucí dlouhodobě kritizuje vládní strana SPD, a naturalističnost působí jako šoková kampaň proti alkoholismu. Jakžtakž to prošlo cenzurou na Steamu, ale tam historicky byly pěkné prasárny, dokud si nezačly kreditkářské společnosti stěžovat. Atmosféra hry je na konci intenzivnější, snad díky profesionálnější grafice ve stylu Poldy, narozdíl od dětinských malůvek obzvlášť prvních 4 dílů, nebo snad proto, že Martymu už není 17 až 20, kdy tyto díly udělal. Dostat se k tomu tehdy v 11 letech, asi bych po tom spal jako po Věřte nevěřte. Těmi exekucemi to totiž teprve začíná, a ten alkoholismus hlavního antihrdiny je nakonec prapříčinou celé navazující části.

Hraješ tam za exekutora, který se před posledním dnem práce ožere jak hovado, přičemž pravý důvod ožrání se je odhalen až na konci, a hra začíná jakousi únikovkou z vlastního bytu, kdy se musíš prokousat tím, cos vyved, a dostavit se do práce v oblečení a s výbavou. Kalkulačka je tam popsaná jako židovské piáno. Nacházíš vzkaz od manželky, že tě kvůli chlastání opouští, ale to není ten pravý důvod, který bude také odhalen na konci, i to, že je ve skutečnosti včerejší. Manželskou krizi necháváš manželskou krizí, jdeš do práce k šéfovi pro poslední 3 exekuční případy. K povinným se musíš dostat, to je další taková únikovka naruby, neboli vnikovka.

První povinný je finančně nezodpovědný Rom dlužící Homokreditu. K němu vyšperhákuješ dveře od paneláku (jen 4 zuby) a přiměješ ho ti otevřít pomocí diktafonové nahrávky zvuků herny. Zabavuješ mu převážně elektroniku - televizi, segway, kreditku, hry na playstation, hifivěž pokud tě obtěžuje to kolotočářské tuctuc, a má tam ještě staré hodiny a bonsai. Socha z hnědého a podepsaný plakát jsou prý velmi hodnotné. Z šuplíku lze vyšperhákovat celkem pěknou hromadu stravenek. Zabavovat lze i děti, jako bys byl OSPOleDnice, novorozeně je za polovinu dlužné částky. Celkově je to takový klasický případ. Po exekuci ti vyhrožuje vyvražděním rodiny, což bude zásadní pro další část.

Druhý povinný je dítě v dětském domově, které zdědilo dluh Dopravnímu podniku Děčín po rodičích. Tato část hry má zjevně poukázat na amorálnost dětských exekucí. Normálně tě tam vrátná nechce pustit, ale stačí jí dát kytici. Pak tam je šikanátor, který vybírá mýtné v podobě 3 žvýkaček i od vychovatelů, a nejde ho přeprat. Za průchod zdarma si máš nechat udělat pupendo, ohníček, hoprdoks, vlhkýho Williho, rumburské tsunami, a další praktiky, což není implementované, ačkoliv to je lepší zábava než ty žvýkačky v takovýchto adventurách shánět. Normálně bys ve večerce koupil celý pytlík a způsobil žvýkačkovou inflaci. Za šikanátorskou mýtnou branou je týpek, který prozradí místnost toho dítěte (C088) výměnou za syntetické konopí. To je trend posledních let. Můžeš ho adoptovat, pak ti bude truchlit nad hrobem v případě špatných konců. V sdělené místnosti je dané povinné dítě, kterému jdou sebrat knížky, glóbus, taška, oblečení, a socha z chleba. Pomocí nože ukrytém v medvíkovi dalšího děcka lze vylákat kontraband v podobně telefonu a notebooku. Na tom notebooku jsou prý dospělárny, přičemž domovní řád působí jako pravidla pro otroky, takže větší prasata jsou ti nahoře. O kontrabandu v něm ale nic není. Plechovka rajčatového protlaku ho přiměje odhalit DVD s dospělárnami hodné několikanásobku dlužné částky. Ve skutečnosti ty dospělárny vytváří tamější děti, a to děcko jim je stříhá, tudíž je to důkazní materiál šikany, ale uspokojit pohledávku je důležitější než usvědčit.

Řád dětského domova "Beznaděj":
1. Tety mají vždy pravdu.
2. Tety musí být oslovovány "Teto" nebo "Paní". Kdo řekne tetě "Mami", dostane 14 dní na díře.
3. Chovanci musí dojíst každé jídlo. Kdo ho nedojí, nedostane další, dokud nesní to staré.
4. Na pokojích je zakázáno brečet.
5. Pomočí-li se chovanec, musí si sám vyprat úbor.
6. Vypukne-li rvačka mezi chovanci, musí být okamžitě přivolány tety, aby si mohly vsadit na vítěze.
(de facto 7. Za zvlášť závažné vylomeniny a neúspěšný pokus o přemožení mýtného šikanátora se rozšlapávají hlavy na obrubníku místo dosavadní díry nebo bičování.)

Dětské šikano-dospělárny u toho děcka: Pochcal jsem ho v Zoo, Sucksána, Škola Cocku, Cirkus Hulberto, Kurvínek a Spejbl, 3 obřízky pro Popelku, Shourek, Kulky se vrací (Jan Svěrač), Méďa Hulička

Třetí povinný je jakýsi alternativní technologický podivín, který dluží nejvíc, a to Falze. Jeho maringotka je dobře opevněná. K němu je potřeba obětí několika zvířátek. Přes elektrický ohradník přehodíš deku, minové pole odminuješ pomocí vypuštění štěňat z krabice, krokodýlovi rozevřeš tlamu tyčí, černou vdovu zamotáš do síťoviny z basketbalového koše, a zatím nevycvičené kuře prostě zapíchneš nožem v medvídkovi. Kameru u vstupu i elektrický plot vypneš přes elektrickou rozvodnu schovanou v pařezu. Vypadá to, že kryptofašistické ještěry z pekel, jako jsou podle něho exekutoři, očekával. Jemu je možné zabavit dokonce i jeho přítelkyni, protože pravomoc exekutorů nezná mezí, ale moc hodnotná není, dokud jí po nabídnutí rumu značky Drak nevypadne z pochvy socha Zlatého slavíka, se kterým už má Marty jakožto Řezník účty vyřízené, ale ta hra se zasekla ve vývoji. Hlavní hodnotné věci jsou kolo, kuš, playstation, harddisk s kryptem a zoodospělárnami, kamerový systém a klíč od maringoty samotné. Je tam jeho fotka s Okamurou, předsedou sněmovny, která má negativní hodnotu. Jeho playstation a hry na něj toho Roma mají možná zabavovací synergii.

Po splnění těchto exekucí tě šéf pochválí, dá ti poukaz na lázeňský pobyt pro 2 osoby, a mrkne na tebe, ať od něj pozdravuješ manželku, což je ale zásadní pro další část.

Po návratu domů v naději na urovnání manželské krize totiž jaksi najdeš svou manželku zavražděnou, a probíhající policejní vyšetřování tě vypudí z bytu právě na ten lázeňský pobyt, ale sólo. Otázku vyšetřující policistky, jestli máš "kam jít", nepochopíš. Jelikož jseš exekutorské sadistické monstrum, rozhodneš se manželku pomstit pomafiánsku, a tak se snažíš vypátrat vraha dřív než policie.

Zpřístupní se ti zastavárna, kde se objeví věci, které jsi dříve exekučně zabavil, ale také i další potřebné věci pro postup. Je to trader, který má záměrně infinite money glitch na různé sběratelské předměty, které čím víc kupuješ, tím dráze se prodávají. Je také možné rozkrádat a zastavit herně zbytné položky. Prostěradlo se po příchodu obnovuje. Minibar bude doplněn v referenci na jistou kapelu, která ho vybília, což značí, že tahle část hry je novější. Přibylo tu i Georgetownské lore v infoletáku, o němž předchozí díly nepojednávaly. Možná je to zbytek worldbuildingu z nedokončené ZNK 8.

Primární podezření máš na někoho z dosavadních povinných, tak se vloupeš do kanceláře k exekutorským spisům vedených pod různými nadávkami. V tom tvém je ale jedna zakrytá stránka. Heslo do šéfova počítače je datum narození napsané na zašpiněné části obrazu prý jeho dcery ve formátu DDMMYYYY, což je v rozporu nejen s ISO 27001, ale i 8601, které vyžaduje YYYYMMDD, když už se nepoužívá ta pomlčka (nebo podtržítko v jazycích nepodporujících kebab-case identifikátory). Zdá se být generované náhodně, aby nešlo přeskakovat zamýšlenou herní progresi.

Nejdřív si myslíš, že to byl ten Rom, co ti vyhrožoval vyvražděním rodiny, tak se k němu dostaneš do herny na záchod přes kanalizaci, protože vyhazovač tě nechce pustit z pochopitelného morálního konfliktu, a odstraníš ho, včetně přítomného svědka. Co na tom, že za ten den to nemoh stihnout vymyslet. Na těch záchodech se Marty vyřádil, obzvlášť s tou vysmrknutou nosní přepážkou po piku do automatu na překvapení.

Myslíš si, žes to vyřešil, jenomže ti někdo pod dveřmi lázeňského pokoje podstrčí vzkaz, že má pro tebe informace, a na koho se máš dotázat na policejní stanici. Policajt na vrátnici ti v jedné z možností dialogu řekne, že buď se jdeš přiznat, nebo jdeš něco nahlásit, a nic jiného ho nezajímá. To, že zmiňuje přiznání, je strašný foreshadowing, ale ne kvůli těm dvoum, cos zrovna odstranil. Ale můžeš si nechat zavolat toho, kdo se identifikoval v tom vzkazu. Je to policistka, kterou ten případ "zaujal", ve skutečnosti je to tvoje další nápadnice, která od tebe chce odlitek nádobíčka výměnou za to, že ti umožní nahlídnout do spisu. Možná je dokonce ráda, že tvoje manželství zaniklo, klidně to mohla být ona ze žárlivosti, ale to by vypadalo tak, že by manželku z něčeho začala podezřívat a držela ji na služebně, když ti je schopná za odmítnutí přišít všechna neuzavřená znásilnění.

Udání se funguje jako špatný konec. Nahlásit můžeš tyhle trestné činy:
* V dětském domově dochází k šikaně -> žalovníček žaluje
* Na sídlišti se prodávají drogy -> tráva je zelená a nebe modrý, víme o tom
To znamená, že pokud zrovna fízli nedělají nějakou buzerovací akci, nebo se státní aparát zrovna nechce na někom vyřádit, nechtějí být otravováni malichernými soukromými záležitostmi. I v totalitních režimech je nosatost státu vysoce selektivní. Ve filmu o Lidicích nějaký jejich obyvatel, který při vypalování byl zrovna mimo, jde na Gestapo, aby ho zastřelili jako ostatní, a tam mu řeknou, že si to Češi představují moc jednoduše, akce už skončila, se střílením je hromada papírování, a schvalovat atentát se už asi může.

Další foreshadowing je krátká "příručka" o domácím násilí na fízlárně:
* Nakopnutí dítěte z rozběhu za známku 3 a horší -> ANO
* Proplesknutí partnera při alkoholové hádce -> NE
* Samovolné upadnutí ze schodů -> NE
* Ubití k smrti za to, že se na mě špatně koukala -> ANO
* Škrcení partnera za účelem rychlejšího vyvrcholení -> NE
Už i pitomé ZNK si myslí, že mlátit děti za špatné známky je domácí násilí, nikoliv výchova. Alkoholová hádka může vypadat všelijak, násilí by to "proplesknutí" bylo, kdyby vás partner předtím fyzicky nenapadnul. To škrcení "za účelem" není přesné, protože ačkoliv jsme úchylové, jakožto voluntarističtí aposterioristé v podstatě účel neuznáváme, takže ani nemůže světit prostředky. Navíc v Británii zakázali vyobrazovat škrcení ve filmech pro dospělé (ale na EuroVision od Rumunska písnička Choke me nevadí), a kink kluby nad tím taky ohrnují nos, takže je potřeba jít do tělocvičny na vhodné bojové umění, pokud v okolí není BookTok holka, co čte "Dark Romance".

Dále je tam řád služebny, s 1. bodem podobným tomu v řádu dětského domova "Beznaděj", tentokráte s římskými číslicemi:
I. Policie má vždy pravdu.

IV. Pomeranče v ručníku nezanechávají modřiny.

V tom spisu ale vidíš růženec, a tehdy pojmeš podezření na to, že to mělo co do činění s tou zakrytou stránkou toho spisu, kterou se rozhodneš odkrýt. Je to jakási jeptiška, která tě při exekuci proklela. Vyptáš se na ní ve faře, kde mnich dělá akční figurky legendárních postav jako komiksových superhrdinů, a ty mu musíš správně poradit charakteristiku archanděla Gabriela, svatého Kryšpína, svatého Jiřího a svatého Benedikta Černého (trošku obskurnější záležitost), a správně je obarvit. Máš si to načíst v jeho knížkách, aby se ti tam ta správná možnost objevila, ale hra je tady milosrdná jak Alláh, a důležité atributy ti barevně zvýrazní. Tahle část moc nesedí, je taková klidnější, plná překlepů, asi nepochází od Martyho, nebo je tam návěstí na tajný konec nanebevzení antihrdiny. Nicméně, k té jeptišce se dopraví a odstraní ji taky. Ta nenávist ji vysloveně požírala, protože nedokázala odpustit Bohu, že ji potrestal za dobrotivost exekucí. Jenomže psychická úleva stále nepřichází, necítíš v sobě jako antihrdina grafického stylu ZNK vykonanou pomstu. Pohlédneš na fotku manželky a zjistíš, že ten růženec nosila ona. Jako v minulých dílech tě zase příběh naved na zabíjení lidí, které jsi nemusel, a rozhodneš se provést soudní pitvu sám, což je konečně projednou nějaká racionální úvaha.

Archanděl Gabriel (zlaté brnění, červený oheň):
x Nebojácný létavý tvor vedoucí archu přeživších zvířat, které pak telepaticky poštvává proti homosexuálům.
x Nositel elektrického meče, který se vznese do nebes a bleskovým úderem zasáhne své nepřátele z řad démonické říše.
x Naprůměrně inteligentní tvor s mohutnými křídly, jejichž mávnutím tvoří smrtící vířivé tornádo, které odnáší hříchy heretiků.

x Doppelganger, který se umí proměnit v pohana a vmísit se tak mezi běžné obyvatelstvo, kde následně provede mocný explozivní útok.
x Mrštný zlodějíček, který umí sejmout svou svatozář a jako disk ji vrhnout po ďáblových poskocích.
x Osvalený hrdina s obouruční sekerou, který jako Šalamoun rozetne vedví mozkovny svých nepřátel.
x Mág světla schopný neviditelnosti, díky které se přiblíží k pochybovačům a našeptává jim do ucha boží slovo.
o Statný drakobijec ze země české, povoláním hraničář summoner, který do boje povolává klubka hadů a štírů.
Svatý Benedikt Černý (černá):
x Předek papeže Benedikta, zdatný rétor a mediátor, který umí urovnat každý spor tak, že všichni z něj vyjdou spokojeni a s čistým štítem.
x Konvertovaný černý mág, který své znalosti temné magie využívá ve službách božích.
o Bývalý etiopský otrok, který umí rouhače sevřít do okovů víry. Výborný kuchař, který nakrmí své společníky, zatímco se sám postí.
x Opat s telepatickými schopnostmi. Umí ale mluvit pouze s Bohem, ostatním boží slovo tlumočí v gospelovém sboru.
x Nedoučený lupič a kriminálník, který je v družině jenom proto, aby hláškoval a umřel jako první.

"Resurektor paladin" a "Hraničář summoner" je jakýsi mix profese a specializace z různých verzí DrD a JaD, a to když jsem zjišťoval z kterých vlastně, napadlo mě vytvořit takovou zemičku bondážistů a eskapologů Okovovsko (Manaclia) okupovanou o TL vyšší Etatismií (Statismia) pomocí pole kouzla Nekonsensuální chování. Možná se na to hodí víc GURPS 4e Lite než d20SRD 5e, to by tam chtělo dodat nějaké Drakovsko (Dragonia), kam chodit na questy. Nejlepší efekt má hraní ve státních panoptikonových institucích místo nudných Dostihů a sázek. Pochopitelně vaše 1. jeskyně je státní základka, kam nastupujete v 6 letech.

Možná už vím, proč tahle část plná textu na čtení tam je. Řezník kdysi udělal track "Nerdi, nerdi", kde verše byly "hrajou Traviany, dostanou rány", "všechny pány prstenů švihnu trubkou po hrtanu", "celej život hraješ gamebooky", "tyhle Magicky byla marná koupě, stejně furt hraješ Dračí Doupě", "zlomím tě v pase, Ultima je pasé", a "flušu kemr na Warhammer". Tehdy ty jeho texty byly pěkné maso. V tom tracku taky zmiňuje absenci sexuálního života, ale ten je podle mě asi tak reálný jako světy nerdů. Možná tehdy se sexovalo víc, ale mně bylo tehdy 10. Klasický problém zilleniálů, že propásli příležitosti 90. a 00. let husákových dětí, když teprve nastupovali na základku. Pro mě jsou ti, co mají sex, ti divní, a možná v tom je ten skrytý sarkasmus "Nerdi, nerdi".

Ve schránce na policejní stanici najdeš anachronisticky optický disk nové verze policejního informačního systému, kde zjistíš, že zaměstnanec policejní márnice je nekrofil. Ověříš si to přes in-game stránku pro dospělé, kde se ti ve výběru kombinací ve formě "svršek - praktika - spodek - místo" zpřístupní možnosti vedoucí na jeho materiál.

Hodnoty proměnných pro vyhledávání dospěláren na "FreeMrdeo":
* Svršek: muž, žena, dítě, dědek, bába, teplouš, tranďák, srnec, cz4mrda, exekutor
* Praktika: líbá, mrdá, prstí, líže, kouří, fistí, švihá, cáká na

Schválně byly seřazeny tak, aby vlastně dávaly jakýsi námět filmu i pro nedospělé (kvalita spánku nezaručena). Místo samozřejměže ve sklepení, takže vlastně dračák, jenom ti draci a saně jsou hodně antropomorfní. Toliko asexualní spektrum a autistická sensorika. YouTubeři museli rozkostičkovat tak půlku obrazovky, což přidalo na narativní hororovitosti. Tam vězní zaměstnanec márnice někoho, kdo se ho předtím pokoušel nahlásit, a pak je tam ještě trezor s genetickým materiálem tvého šéfa. Po zahojení ran na zádech toho vězněného a vyšperhákování pout s 8zubou vložkou zámku ti na porovnávači DNA porovná genetický materiál z manželky. Kromě tvojí DNA, což je další foreshadowing, tam vidí shodu i s tou šéfovou.

Tehdy ti dojde, co ti tvůj šéf tím mrknutím naznačoval, a jdeš mu prohrabat kancelář ještě detailněji. Najdeš tam intimní fotky, jak tě podváděl s tvou manželkou. V tu chvíli se do té kanceláře vrátí, a máš chvíli na výběr, čím ho sprovodit ze světa, aby na tě neposlal fízly za vloupání. Tehdy cítíš úlevu. On ten šéf byl totiž celkem taky exekuční sadista velmi háklivý na pracovní nekázeň. A ještě ti nasadil parohy, takže podle zakořeněné monogamie zasloužil odstranit nehledě na to, jestli byl skutečný vrah. Což asi nebyl, když ti dával ten poukaz pro 2. Ostatní postavy nemají motivaci řešit problémy pomocí vražd. Kdybys nechal policejní vyšetřování plynout normálně, ikdyž to s tou márnicí asi normální nebylo, ta šéfova DNA by se tam našla, a šéf by byl z té vraždy obviněn, takže bys cítil úlevu i tak, skrze aparát státního institucionálního sadismu. Přítomnost té tvojí by tě s dobrým právníkem neinkriminovla, protože tys byl přece manžel. Tahle detektivková část se zdá být trošku vložená na sílu do toho příběhu, aby se natáhnul herní čas.

Vrátíš se z lázeňského pobytu domů, kde už dávno skončilo policejní ohledávání. Je ti celkem jedno, co s tebou státní aparát provede, až přijde na to, cos proved. Doma si opět všimneš opouštěcího vzkazu. Zdá se ti, žes ho čet víckrát, a všimneš si data, že vlastně předchází tomu poslednímu dni. Po té latentní megakocovině se ti vrací paměť. Ty ses totiž naprosto nezřízeně vylil v reakci na ten vzkaz samotný, předvečer posledního dne v práci, právě protožes ho poprvé čet ráno už tehdy. Protože jinak by ses přece vylil až po tom posledním dni. A když ses vrátil z práce cestou přes hospodu, manželka jaksi už byla doma, přestože psala, že tě opouští, ale ženský jsou ženský, a urovnávání manželské krize vypadalo tak, že když se ti zmínila o tom, že stejně má někoho jiného, byls to ve skutečnosti ty, kdo ji zavraždil, a pak jsi ji ještě naposledy ojel. Proto ten tvůj genetický materiál v ní vedle šéfova. A to, žes měl ráno v tom kocovinovém pastavu doma mrtvolu, se tvému mozku nějak povedlo vytěsnit v rámci snahy se urychleně dostavit na ten poslední den do práce. On se totiž ten smrad tlejícího masa a krve mezi těmi zvratky a hovny ztratí.

To psychicky nemůžeš rozdýchat. Nemůžeš se smířit s tím, žes celou dobu hledal vinu tam, kde nebyla, a v návaznosti na exekutorský sadismus jsi odstraňoval domnělé pachatele, kdyžs to celou dobu byl ty a tvůj alkoholismus. Možná na tom nese vinu i implicitní monogamie. Další milostný trojúhelník, který by mohl skončit trojkou. Tehdy se odhaluje, co doopravdy znamená ten název Poslední exekuce. Máš na výber několik možností, jak ji na sobě vykonat. Peťan použil troubu v odkazu Lucie Bílé, Fatty nůž, který na začátku není možné sebrat, Haiset okno a gravitaci, ale ignorovali to předzamení v tom smyslu, že se můžeš jít na tu policii se vším udat (jestli je to na ten konec implementované), protože značná část těch špatných konců v téhle části spočívala v tom, že tě zatkla policie (busted).

Pak je tu ještě alternativní tajný konec. Ten má prý vypadat tak, že jseš nanebevzat, pravděpodobně přes nějakou zvláštní sekvenci akcí na faře v souvistlosti s tou jeptiškou. V úvodu někde klikneš na tajné místo. Nejspíš ta stránka o jeptišce bude ve spisu odkrytelná před tím, než se vydáš odstranit toho gamblerského Roma, kterého podezíráš prvně, a když se k ní vydáš před tím, a nějak si to u ní urovnáš, v očích Boha se napravíš. Komentáře tvrdí, že se ten konec otevře, když nabarvíš akční figurky světců specifickými barvami. Proto je asi tahle část hry taková divná. Peťan nechá diváky lovit písmenka schoveného ID videa, Fatty se k tomu nedostal, ale Haiset jo. Takže, všechny 4 mají mít červený podstavec, modrou kůži, žluté oblečení či brnění, černé věci v ruce, a had pod Jiřím je taky černý. To tě nanebevezme před SuperJežíše a HyperMojžíše. Ti tě pochválí za to, že se touto volbou barev stalo křesťanství opět populární. Grafický styl nebe je trošku jiný, víc komiksový.

Pointa toho tajného konce je, že v nebi nemají exekuce smysl. Takže ačkoliv materiálně je to ráj, psychologicky to může být peklo. Ale asi se tam shledáš se svou manželkou, pokud teda být oběť partnerské femicidy převáží nad nevěrou pro dostání se do nebe místo do pekla. Nevím, jestli má v křesťanství "nezabiješ" větší prioritu než "nesesmilníš". Dá se říct, že místo na Boha věřím na NAP, takže jediné přikázání je "nenarušíš", takže cokoliv nekonsensuálního je vždy horší než cokoliv konsensuálního. A že exekutoři v Česku jsou fakt kleptomani a kradou víc než národnostní menšina z toho osočována.

Potřebují ale v nebi exekutora, protože někdo přišel na exploit, jak se dostat do nebe a držet se tam pomocí ukradených svatých věcí, které přidávají Holy Points. Jseš proto pověřen úplně jinou poslední exekucí, a sice věcí za Holy Pointy místo Korun českých. Do nebe se prý pašuje hodně věcí. Je tam taky hromada kufrů a brýlí, což poznají návštěvníci Osvětimi. Prý se do nebe jezdí vlakem a na povolení na vstup se čeká ve frontě bez osprchování se. Hra vyčistí inventář, takže musíš oklikat obrazovku pro exekutorskou výbavu. Ten problémový obyvatel nebe je ten Rom, kteréhos odstranil předtím, než sis přečet ten policejní spis. Vnikneš k němu tak, že před dveřmi jeho nebeského domečku z mraku zapálíš brýlemi a slunečními paprsky bong, přičemž jako matroš použiješ jabko ze stromu poznání, které sestřelíš Davidovým prakem a rozkrájené usušíš na rozpáleném plechu nebeského plotu položený na díru do pekla. Takhle napsané to zní o hodně výživněji než na to půl hodiny přicházet. Rom má jako křídla kuřecí křídla a jako svatý kruh Möbiův proužek či co, což má být maskování z Očistce. Nebeská almara má 9zubý zámek a má v sobě výherní automat, který má ale křesťanskou tématiku, takže za moc Holy Pointů není. Hodnotné je Longinovo kopí osudu, miska krve Matky Terezy, Turínské plátno, obraz SuperJežíše, a skříň s automatem samotná. Ostatní věci mají negativní hodnotu, takže sebrání mu na Holy Pointech přidá. V případě neúspěchu tě SuperProroci hodí do pekla, v případě úspěchu záměrně ztratí stížnost té jeptišky, kterou ses vydal odstranit předtím, nežs maloval ty figurky, ale nakonec se dostala do nebe taky. Zabavené svaté věci ti oprávněný nechá.

ZNK bývá v podstatě taková vstupní brána do všelijakých podivných praktik, ale tenhle příběh nemá logiku dospěláckého filmu ani dark romance, a zápletky na to nejsou vůbec vystavené. Kdyby místo chlastání bylo společensky normalizované být na tripech, nedával by smysl. Kdyby bylo místo monogamie společensky normalizované být polyamorní, také by nedával smysl. Možná, kdybych ho psal já, tak bych tu 2. část pojal jako možnost vydělat si pokoutnými způsoby dost peněz na to, aby bylo možné si ty zabavené věci objevivší se v té zastavárně koupit zpátky a vrátit je. Ta vražda by tam nebyla, šéfovu kancelář by šlo stále prohledat, a policajtka by projevila zájem aktivním sváděním. Všichni 4 by skončili ve 2-na-2, jakmile by byla restituce kompletní.

Totiž můj způsob humoru je hodně cimrmanovský. Stojí na přítomnosti či absenci logiky, absurdnosti a dysfunkci, slovních hříčkách, subverzi předpokladů, narážkách na různé zajímavosti, a nově i takovém švejkovském kontaktu nekonsensuálna s konsensuálnem. ZNK je plná různých tělních výměšků a genitálií, což je celkem naturalistické, ale není to to, co by mě napadlo, kdybych vymýšlel něco zábavného.

Pamětníkům možná přijde, že zápletka ZNK 9 je hodně podobná ZNK 7. Tam v paměťovém okně znásilníš nějakou štětku, odsoudí tě za to, za 3 dny se ti povede utéct, a když se vrátíš do hospody, zjistíš, že tě vyhecovali k vypití Georgetownského zabijáka, což je smíchanina všech možných drog, a žes to opravdu proved. Jsou tam i menší aluze na předchozí díly. Šéfa spícího s tvou ex zabíjíš v ZNK 1, peníze na zaplacení dluhu sháníš v ZNK 2, márnice je sviňstvo hodné ZNK 3, ze ZNK 4 je Rom a neimplementovaná mechanika boje, ze ZNK 5 je vyšetřování a drogy, a ze ZNK 666 je sekvence lidí na zabití. ZNK 8 mělo být něco jako Drogáč, trošku obchodovací sandbox.

Časovou linkou ZNK 9 nezapadá do předchozího konceptu 14 her ve 14 různých letech od 1990 do 2003. Odehrává se totiž až v roce 2026, ale šéf má na počítači nastavený rok 2010. Taky tamější kyberpunkový Georgetown víc připomíná Žižkov než Rumburk a Jiříkov. Možná je nějaká volnější návaznost na ZNK 2, kde jseš na konci jako jistý mladík v roce 1996 mafií přijat pro svou schopnost sehnat rychle hodně peněz na splacení dluhu.

Technicky ZNK 9 běží na Unity místo na Visual Basic 6, a zvuk s hudbou je řešen přes knihovnu FMOD. Možná za to zpoždění mohl i nápad Unity začít vybírat runtime fee, což způsobilo exodus vývojářů ve prospěch Godota, takže od toho muselo Unity upustit. Pokud kód nejsou neúnosné špagety jako od vývojáře Yandere Simulátoru, dávalo by smysl vyměnit herní data a prohlásit to za ZNK 10. Rámcové rozhraní pro ZNK 1 až 8 vznikalo za pochodu, vrcholu dosáhlo v ZNK 666. Kdežto pro ZNK 9 byla vytvořena nová kódová báze. Možná by stačilo přepsat VB6 do C# místo celé Unity, na což už je AI, ale zdrojáky se nejspíš ztratily, a dekompilace je zábava pro jiný druh lidí než herní vývojáře.

Modernější přístup k hráči si kromě automatického ukládání vyžádal nějaký systém úkolů a nápověd, takže dostatečným proklikáním se dá průchod vyřešit logicky místo zkoušení různých kombinací, proto části působí víc jako únikovka a vnikovka. Možná je to i protože některé skříňky se zdají být zamčené z herní logiky zbytečně, a jenom nutí hráče pobíhat napříč lokacemi ve stylu prohledávání do šířky místo do hloubky.

Hra používá nekonsistentní oddělovače tisíců. Někdy je to tečka, jindy mezera. Některé streamovací overlaye používají tečku poanglicku jako desetinný oddělovač. Asi tu hru psali různí lidé v průběhu času. Docela dobrý oddělovač tisíců je apostrof, takové literály podporuje novější C++, v Unity se ale píše v C#, který má podtržítko.
